Corrections, responses and changelog
Organizations, publishers and readers can send records that change an assessment. Corrections are made on the assessment page and logged in its revision history. Earlier versions are not silently overwritten.
Submit a record or a response
Email hello@recordlens.org with the address of the assessment, the record you rely on (a judgment, order, filing or official statement) and the passage that matters. Responses from an organization or publisher named in an assessment are published on the assessment page with the date received, in their own words or as a short quotation.
We do not remove an accurate assessment on request. We do update it when a later record changes the position, such as an appeal, an acquittal, a dismissal or a settlement.
How corrections are shown
- The assessment keeps a revision history with the date, the field changed, the earlier value and the reason.
- A changed label is stated at the top of the revision history.
- Broken source links are replaced with an archived or official copy and the replacement is logged.
Conflicts
Record Lens does not accept payment to publish, change or remove an assessment. Assessments are written to the method on this site and checked by a second reviewer.
