Why this label

The CNN report reflected expert forecasts days after the collapseS5. Under the Chapter 11 plan, the FTX Recovery Trust reported in March 2026 cumulative distributions of 96% for Dotcom customer claims, 100% for US customer claims and 120% for convenience claimsS4. These percentages refer to allowed claim amounts under the plan, not to later market values of crypto assets. The forecast of a zero recovery no longer describes the position. The Trust release is a company statement and was not checked against a court docket.
