Why this label
The 2022 report was accurate when published. It describes an appearance at the Palm Ridge Magistrate's Court on charges of fraud, theft and corruption linked to TransnetS5. In December 2024 the NPA announced a resolution with McKinseyS2. McKinsey's updated statement says it completed its financial obligations in December 2024 and that the NPA withdrew its charges in January 2025S3. A search in October 2026 found no NPA release and no established press report confirming the withdrawal or its date. The NPA release of 6 December 2024 does not mention itS2. So the withdrawal rests on the company's account. The status of charges described in 2022 has changed, at least through the resolution.
