Why this label

In February 2024 the STF suspended Novonor's leniency fines of about R$ 8.5 billion and let the company seek a review of the agreement with federal bodiesS3. Agency copy of 15 August 2025 says Justice André Mendonça, the rapporteur, homologated the renegotiated agreements of seven companies, with Odebrecht on the list, and that the plenary would review the decision in a virtual sessionS6. A second report says Justice Flávio Dino asked for time to review the case and suspended the plenary judgment minutes after it beganS7. A single justice's homologation is supported. The wording goes beyond the record if read as approval by the court as a whole. We found no plenary result and no Novonor specific terms as of October 2026. Both reports are agency copy without a named reporter.

Current procedural position

Fines suspended by STF decision in Petição 11972 on 1 February 2024S3. Renegotiation homologated by the rapporteur on 15 August 2025S6. Plenary review suspended by a request for review on 15 August 2025S7. No plenary result found as of October 2026.
