Why this label
In December 2017 Reuters reported trading in Steinhoff shares on the Johannesburg and Frankfurt exchangesS1. That position has changed. On 13 October 2023 the liquidators confirmed that the liquidation of the holding company was complete and that the company and its shares had ceased to existS5. The exchanges were to carry out the delisting on timelines announced earlier. Any description of Steinhoff as a listed company is out of date. The FSCA was still pursuing individuals in 2026S3, but that does not revive the company.
Current procedural position
